It was in Villeurbanne in the 1930s that Jeanne opened a boutique in the heart of the Gratte-ciel, Marjolaine, where she sold woolens, baby clothes, and tapestries. Her husband decided to start sewing in the back room to compensate for the lack of suppliers and offer their customers new products, period lingerie. The Marjolaine brand was born. From generation to generation, successive directors have evolved their catalog according to fashion. After Roger, it was one of his three heirs, Nicole, who continued the Marjolaine adventure, then her daughter Carole succeeded her alongside her husband Stéphane and their children.
